We are pleased to announce that Nathan Voegeli has become a partner at Maier Pfeffer Kim Geary & Cohen LLP. Nathan joined the firm in July 2024 and has been an extraordinary asset to our clients and the firm. Before joining us, Nathan spent several years with the California Governor’s Office engaged as the Senior Advisor for Tribal Negotiations and Deputy Legal Affairs Secretary. Prior to working in the Governor’s Office, Nathan was an attorney and tribal liaison with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and previously served as General Counsel for the Yurok Tribe in Northern California.
Nathan’s breadth of experience working with tribal, state, and federal governments, knowledge of federal Indian law and tribal governance, and strong negotiation skills are welcome additions to our practice. Maier Pfeffer Kim Geary & Cohen LLP prides itself on delivering exceptional and high-quality representation to tribal governments and entities and Nathan will help us ensure this tradition continues.
